Jamaica is one of the four places in the world that has a luminous lagoon otherwise called glistening waters. The water glows at night when it is disturb, This is cause by living microscopic organisms in the water. This lagoon is the largest, glows all year long and it glows the brightest.

NB: This is only for the transportation to and from the attraction, once you’re on site there will be a entrance fee of $25 per person for the tour.

Visit to the lagoon was a magical experience

I had the most amazing time both getting to and then experiencing the Luminous Lagoon. My host and driver, Damar, was very knowledgeable about the area and graciously shared his insights, which made the trip there and back to Negril quite enjoyable. As we waited for our turn on the boat, I was enthralled with the Fire Dancer, who put on quite a show. The boat captain for the lagoon tour was also informative and entertaining. The captain told us how the lagoon was formed and what made it glow. He also patiently assisted the swimmers into the water and Damar graciously photographed the experience. The sight of the blue waters below me as I swam were breathtaking and quite magical. All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience.
